Thank you for visiting Migrant Youth Foundation (Rainbow Youth Center)
Migrant Youth Foundation exists for supporting successful settlement and heathy growth of migrant youth.
We sincerely welcome everyone who have interested in and visited Migrant youth foundation.
Established by the South Korean government in 2006, Migrant Youth Foundation(MYF) serves as the institution to support settlement and adaptation of diverse immigrated youth of multicultural families including North Korean immigrant youth, undocumented children and refugee children etc. Under Article 18 of Youth Welfare Support Act, MYF strives for promoting better relations and understanding immigrants among South Korean people, not only for helping immigrant youth to develop their capacities to settle down and adapt into South Korea.
As the number of immigrants increases, various migrant youth are living with us. Accordingly, we desperately need social understanding and consideration for immigrant youth to enable them to live with us as our neighbors.
MYF has conducted educational support and psychological counseling for immigrant youth and developed educational programs and contents for them. Also this provides educational programs for training experts and professionals related to this field, for understanding mutually between immigrant youth and non-immigrant youth and for leading to change negative perception toward immigrant youth. As a think tank, MYF has continued researches and surveys, and the Foundation also has made effort to improve policies and service systems for immigrant youth. We will make the best effort in performing the leading role so that migrant youth can grow to healthy citizens.
We ask for your interest and support. Thank you.
